A water softener will not negatively affect the performance of the heat H2O Hot Water Recirculation System. In fact, it may extend the lifespan of the system by preventing mineral buildup within the pump and sensor valve. The pump is engineered for typical residential use, and water pressure should not exceed 80 psi. If your household water pressure is above 80 psi, please consult a plumbing professional for appropriate solutions and to ensure optimal system operation.
