The SmartStream Ultraviolet Water Disinfection System 8 GPM delivers an 8gpm flow rate at up to 100psi maximum water pressure. While a pre-filter isn’t strictly necessary, it’s strongly recommended since sediment can accumulate in the UV chamber, diminishing the UV light’s effectiveness and potentially shortening the lifespan of the system’s components.
