Water coming out of air gap hole of faucet.

I use a wire to clear the black drain tube but the water still come out of the air gap hole. Is the automatic shut off valve supposed to prevent this continous leakage of water?
Water seems to come out of the air-gap hole continously. and I use a wire to clean the black drain but it is still coming out the air gap hole. Could it be something wrong with the Automatic shut off Valve?

While the automatic shut off valve does start and stop the waste water flow, the tubing is specifically designed to handle the water volume produced by the system. When cleaning the waste tube, also check the drain saddle orientation and make sure nothing is obstructing water flow into the drain.
